Had to chuckle when I read this. Lonely Planet used to have this hippie wholesomeness about it, warning travelers about dangers such as prostitution and drug use. Yo hoo, seems that one of its writers knew about these dangers from firsthand experience.
In this era of blogs and web sites, who really needs LP anymore though? Your blogger is of course contributing, too:
